Francesco Guttuso was born in Caracas, Venezuela 1980. Beetween 2003 and 2006 he worked with the filmakers Daniele Ciprì and Franco Maresco. Since 2007 he has worked as assistance director for RAI. Now he is working on a decalogue of short films based on suicide and on an animated saga "Giustino l'agnellino". In 2006, he won the prize for the best short film at Torino Film Festival, with "Il suicidio di un paraplegico 2 di 10"
