Campi privilegiati di indagine sono il contesto territoriale e i comportamenti umani, cui si aggiunge una riflessione sui sentimenti nei rapporti interpersonali. Ogni opera prende dunque avvio da un'attenta osservazione e una profonda analisi di luoghi, persone e meccanismi sociali, indispensabile fase di ricerca che confluisce nella realizzazione di eventi performativi con gli stessi artisti nelle vesti di attori protagonisti. Andreco uses many techniques to represent his art, from public installations to videos or large size paintings and drawings. In 2007 Andreco realized a sitespecific installation project called “escape from the gallery" in Bologna, Barcelona, Leipzig, Berlin, Cremona, Termoli. “Escape from the gallery” is a flow of whales that start from the galleries or museums and escape into the public space, swimming on the walls of the cities. Between 2007 and 2008 Andreco's videos and animations have been presented in several Italian art academies and in different video art festivals. Beauty, contemplation, relationship between sound and architecture, acoustic illusions, improvvisation, continuum, concrete and electroacoustic music are the pivotal points of his practice along with a multitude of unsaid concepts which emerges progressively from his performances. His work as filmmaker and video maker is placed in the interstitial area between abstract, narrative and contemplative cinema. His films find its roots in last century experimental and structural cinema and show a particular attention to the emotional, perceptive and landscape qualities of moving images. He makes use of different media in the realization of his works: from video to film and stop motion animation. He his part of Phonorama, an improvisation ensemble with a flexible structure in which some of the best Italian musicians of the electronic music scene are involved. Unlike the first edition of the Festival, where short animated movies were created with free software and without commercial purposes (most of those were created with Blender), the second edition opens up to different kinds of animation. The co-operation with the young curator Federico Lupo has led to a selection of artists who use animation as a way to express their art, and not only as a way of expressing state of the art technology, but of a personal journey which has found a timeless channel of communication in the use of animation. The selected artists are all very different, not only in terms of achievements, but also in terms of their personal journeys and the goals they have set to achieve through their work. The inclusion of so many different works should not led to believe that Hot Flowing is a mere container of images, but rather, it is a wide selection of techniques and issues aimed at providing the audience with a wide range of information. There will be no hierarchies nor geographical differences - for example, there will be students and renowned professionals - and the festival aims at presenting the views of young international artists. A differenza della prima edizione del festival che prevedeva la proiezione di corti di animazione realizzati con software liberi e senza scopi commerciali (la maggior parte di essi creati con Blender), la seconda si apre al mondo dell'animazione su più fronti. La collaborazione con il giovane curatore Federico Lupo ha portato alla selezione di artisti che usano l'animazione come mezzo espressivo artistico, non solo espressione quindi di tecniche all'avanguardia ma di un percorso personale che ha trovato nell'uso dell'animazione un canale espressivo senza tempo. Gli artisti selezionati non si differenziano l'uno dall'altro per i risultati ottenuti, tutti ragguardevoli, ma per il percorso formativo che li caratterizza e per gli obiettivi che si prefiggono di ottenere con il loro lavoro. L'aver inserito lavori tra loro così diversi non deve indurre a pensare che Hot Flowing sia un mero contenitore di immagini, si tratta invece di una ampia selezione di tecniche e tematiche per offrire allo spettatore una vasta gamma di animazioni. Protagoniste dei lavori di Rita Casdia sono piccole bambole di plastilina modellate dall'artista stessa e poi chiuse in barattoli o fotografate in paesaggi non ben definiti, cui spetta il compito di mettere in scena stati psicologici particolari quali la nostalgia, il timore dell'abbandono, il rapporto talvolta conflittuale con l'altro sesso. He started to learn classical piano at the age of 4. He is a composer, photographer, film director and a graphic designer. In 2008, he joined th theater company Princesse Club for the creation of Le silence de Lil show.
